2 Rare Early Prussian / German Real Photo Postcards of Soldiers RPPC's
For your consideration fresh to the market form an esate are these two antique postcards of Prussian / German Soldiers, the postcards are Real Photo Post Cards. One of the postcards features the men posed together in what looks like Dress uniforms, bayonets hanging from their belts, and shiney belt buckles are on display. In the center of the photograph there appears to be a high ranking soldier who seems to have a sword, and certainly has some kind of award, braid, hanging from his shoulder to stomach.
The other postcard, smaller picture, seems to have Prussian soldiers in field jackets posed outside. In the back are three soldiers which appear to be wearing the same award, the braid, that extends from the shoulder to the stomach. In addition to that, the soldier directly to the left of the left most soldier with the braid award, is wearing a medal. The similar poses of these two sets of soldiers is striking. Something else I noticed about the postcards is the amount of men smoking in it, almost every man in both postcards is holding a cigarette or cigar.
These two cards would make an excellent addition to your Ephemera display of early Prussian items.
