Original Germany WWI Luftflotte / Air Force Aerial Reconnaissance Photo of France. Pilot name, notes, location, etc. etched into the photo negative (the white lettering at top or bottom). Ca 17x13cm. These are photographs shot by the recon pilots and brought back to HQ for intelligence on troop movements, fortifications, etc. The destroyed buildings can be seen clearly. Original WWI history.
