    Description
Here is your chance to own something unique. Here we have a signed postcard from Ernst von Oven (1859-1945) who was a General during World War One. He commanded the 21st Infantry Division and took part in the initial march through Luxembourg into France and later saw action in Verdun twice and the Somme.  Upon his second positioning in Verdun in the spring of 1918 he was wounded and awarded the Pour le Merite for his exemplary leadership. In excellent condition overall. Message and signature on the reverse. Dated 1928.
